About

About Makoon

A new ERP being built for growing operational businesses, so that a company can start simple and grow into more control without changing systems.

Why it is being built

Most growing companies face an uncomfortable choice. Use simple software and eventually outgrow it, or adopt powerful software early and live with complexity that is not yet needed. Either way, the moment the company matures it ends up rebuilding itself inside another system.

Makoon is being built so that the step from simple to controlled does not require changing systems: the same product, with more capability revealed as the business, the responsibility and the process call for it. Companies deserve one honest system that grows with them.

Who it is for

Growth operators: businesses whose complexity is operational rather than bureaucratic. Several locations or warehouses, approvals, purchasing and cash control, reporting, and a handful of other systems such as banks, commerce, payroll and logistics that already have to work together. They need more control than simple business software provides, usually with limited IT capacity, and they cannot absorb an enterprise-scale implementation project.

What it is

One business system for sales, purchasing, stock, finance, people, service and approvals, designed around complete business journeys rather than isolated screens. Each person meets the depth their responsibility requires, the same business rules govern the simple path and the deep one, and the system keeps a history of what happened and why that grows more valuable as the business grows.

Where it stands

Makoon is currently in development and is not commercially available. The planned scope is described on the home page, and everything in it is planned or in development. Public availability will be announced when the product reaches the required readiness level.

How we talk about it

We would rather describe intent honestly than claim features early. Nothing on this site is a screenshot, a customer or a result. When that changes, it will be shown as what it is.
